MoveGB continues drive to put industry talent at its heart

Supplier: MoveGB

More MoveGB details
It's important to the brand to continue to invest in talent from the fitness industry
Here at Move we’ve recently taken a pause for thought in the midst of continued growth.

New cities, new partners, new customers and a dazzling selection of activities are added to our platform on a daily basis, which is really exciting.

And with that growth means our headcount naturally increases too. So we took a moment to think about what really drives the success we’ve had as a business, but also what drives our brilliant culture too.

Although we continue to bring in talent from other industries, what’s vitally important to us is that we continue to invest in talent representing the full spectrum of the great industry we all work in.

MoveGB itself may be a relatively new brand, but as a leadership team we can draw on over 100 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. MoveGB is fundamentally made by the industry, and designed for the industry.

Move was founded by the brain behind The Retention People (TRP), the fitness industry’s leading data analytics and loyalty solutions provider, and this knowhow has been taken forward to create the industry’s platform marketplace focussed squarely on loyalty, not discounts.

But we also need new talent who live and breathe the industry right now in other ways:

- Nearly 50 per cent of the Move workforce is made up of team members with prior experience in the health and fitness industry.

- 12.5 per cent of our workforce lead double lives as fitness instructors right now!

- Nearly 10 per cent come from leisure chain operators.

- And nearly 20 per cent have higher academic qualifications in relevant subjects like fitness and nutrition.

We’re committed to continuing this way with at least one in two new hires coming from the industry, and we are proud to be part of the fabric of this great community as it evolves.
