Fitness blogger Chessie King will join a panel of 14 judges at the Elevate Innovation Awards
With just two weeks to go until Elevate 2017, a number of expert industry professionals and influential fitness bloggers, have come on board as part of a specialist judging panel for the newly launched, Elevate Innovation Awards.

Elevate, the UK’s largest cross sector event focused on tackling physical inactivity, has confirmed 14 judges. These include Nick Pearson, CEO of parkrun, Scott Niven, Group Head of Fitness at Bannatyne Group, Chessie King, renowned fitness blogger and David Cooper from boutique studio chain, GymBox.

The awards will recognise the best products and services designed to tackle inactivity, and are closely linked to the main themes of the event – inclusivity, performance, health and wellbeing and business.

The five awards categories – Best Health and Wellness Innovation, Best Workout Innovation, Best Facility Innovation, Best Innovation for Human Performance and Best Start-up – will be assessed in an interactive judging process, with the expert panel walking around the first day of the show, scoring entries against a set criteria, with plaques awarded to the winners during the evening drinks reception.

Max Quittenton, Founder and Director of Elevate, says: “We’re very excited to announce the inaugural Elevate Innovation Awards at this year’s show. Our panel of esteemed judges from the health and physical activity sector will be uncovering the best products and innovations and we want to recognise those paving the way in tackling to address such a complex issue within society.”
