Following locker company Helmsman going into administration in early January, it has been bought out by Sperrin Metal Products of Northern Ireland.
Sperrin is a storage manufacturer which produces racking, shelving, mezzanines and lockers. It's been in operation for nearly 50 years and currently employs around 100 employees at its locations in Ulster.
Director Peter Gormley expressed a commitment to uphold the current Helmsman workforce, saying: "It is our intention to continue business as usual."
The company - which was in operation for more than 250 years - is currently undergoing a restructuring programme and will continue to operate from its offices in Suffolk, manufacturing the same extensive locker range.
