Salon and spa management software company Phorest has unveiled a text messaging tool designed to boost client retention.
A day after a client has visited a salon or spa, the Phorest system will automatically generate a 'Thank You' text message on behalf of the therapist.
Taking details from the database such as the client's and therapist's name, the client could receive a message along the lines of "Sue, thanks for visiting us yesterday. I hope you enjoyed your treatment. x Laura".
This is intended to make the client feel valued as well as increase the chances of the client visiting the spa or salon again.
