Moss Trend expands into spa market

Supplier: Moss Trend

More Moss Trend details
The family creates vertical gardens using moss that lives on the humidity naturally present in the air
With a long history in creating decorative materials for interior designers and stage scenography, Italy-based Moss Trend has now ventured into public spaces, including restaurants and spas.

The family-run business creates preserved green walls designed to be maintenance-free, with vertical gardens created with moss that lives on the humidity naturally present in the air.

The company recently finished a new project at the Erato Wellness Luxury Spa in Artimino, Italy, using Jungle Moss to create a living wall made of preserved plants that complements the existing décor of the spa. Customers can choose between several types of plants, from Reindeermoss in various colours, to ready-to-hang plant frames, to preserved leaves and lichen.

"Installation of moss panels is very simple and easy,” says Francesco Meaolo, managing director of Moss Trend. “A natural preservation process gives the plants long-lasting durability. In recent years, we've been embracing a more green approach to public spaces, such as restaurants or spas. As our products do not require light, and absorb moisture from the air, spas are convenient spaces for our products. They bring texture, energy and that final touch of design to the interior, which gives guests a comfortable and warm feeling. We believe in the healing power of nature that is reflected in rooms dedicated to meditation, rest and healthy living. "

Supplier: Moss Trend

Moss Trend offers natural decorative elements for interior design based on stabilized moss, both for private and commercial projects. Its natural products do not require maintenance or irrigation systems.

Moss Trend is the latest novelty in interior design. It is the art which, by using natural lichen, allows to redefine the interiors. The natural environment of moss is Scandinavia which covers large areas of moss generally used for grazing reindeer, moose and musk oxen.

The moss is harvested and stabilized by drying. With a variety of shapes and colours, it is intended solely for indoor environments.
