The US 2008 Olympics Swim Trials saw Neptune-Benson supplying the championships with their Defender™ filtration system.
With the trials held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska from June 29-July 6, the filtration systems were used in both the competition and warm-up pools, with each holding around one million gallons of water.
The Defender system is claimed to have the ability to remove particles down to one-micron, helping to reduce water, energy and chemical costs whilst also assisting in delivering a 'faster' pool for competitors.
The Rhode Island-based company has also supplied their Defender filter system to other pools in the US along with pools in Australia and Dubai.
